New St. Paul AME Church

The New St. Paul Church Rehab Construction project was meant to preserve a building that was falling apart. Nothing on the inside of the building or outside could be saved. We replaced all of the walls, windows, doors, roof, electrical, plumbing air conditioning, and even some of the wood holding the building together. This church was built with a brick exterior and it is meant to be a 2020 version of the historic St. Paul AME Church in downtown Tampa. The original building is famous for having Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Thurgood Marshall, and President Bill Clinton all coming to the congregation and outlining their visions of what America could be. The current building houses all of the church's furniture and many original artifacts from the1915 historic gothic building.
